Formed in 1986, the Sydney Cricket Association administers men's and women's Grade and Sydney Shires turf competitions, on behalf of the NSWCA. The Sydney Grade competitions are amongst the strongest in the world with many NSW SpeedBlitz Blues and Lend Lease Breakers players featuring in the First Grade competition.

The NSW Discrict Cricket Association is the governing body for District Cricket, both junior and senior, in metropolitan NSW. The NSW DCA currently has 32 affliate associations encompassing close to 45,000 cricketers. Amongst its responsibilities, the NSW DCA runs the Inter-Association Shields.

Country Cricket NSW conducts Senior and Junior Representative Programs for male and female cricketers residing in regional NSW. In addition to running these competitions, Country Cricket NSW strives to provide development opportunities for Umpires who reside in regional NSW and recognition for the many volunteers involved in the administration of Country Cricket. The Country Committee of Management comprises one elected delegate from each of the regional Zones and Associations (eight in total) and this body manages the affairs of Country Cricket NSW.

The NSW Cricket Umpire and Scorers Association was formed in 1913 and represents all scorers and umpires in NSW.
