About the Fast Bowling Unit
A large number of promising young fast bowlers have had their careers cut short or interrupted by back injuries.
These injuries usually stem from inadequate technique and too much bowling. With greater knowledge of the technical and physical requirements of fast bowling, many of these injuries could be prevented.
As well as preventing injury, this increased knowledge and awareness can also lead to better performance.
Cricket NSW recognises the importance of preventing fast bowling injuries and providing increased knowledge on the art of fast bowling.
If you have experienced an injury or would like to improve your skills as a fast bowler, then the fast bowling unit is for you!
