Former RTA SpeedBlitz Blues rookie, Josh Lalor, has been one of the stars of the Australian Indigenous team currently involved in a four match series against Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby.

The two teams have so far played two Twenty20 fixtures and one 50 over match. Papua New Guinea, coached by former Australian quick Andy Bichel, have been victorious in all three games.

A member of the NSW Imparja Cup team, Lalor has featured heavily for the Indigenous team. In the 50 over match he hit a stunning 92 not out in his team’s total of 210, then backed up to take 3-40 from eight overs of left-arm pace.

In the second Twenty20 match, the third game of the series, he took 3-21 from his four overs in the four run loss.

Lalor’s Imparja Cup team mate, Kris Halloran, is also part of the Australian touring party. The teams play a second 50 over match, the fourth and final game of the series, tomorrow (July 27).
